Let’s decorate a feminine pink floral Valentine’s Day tree?
It’s been a year since my last post and it was a Valentines tree. I just love the pink.
If this is your first time here, I haven’t put our dining room Christmas tree away for a few years. I have been enjoying decorating it for a few different seasons and loving the lights all year long.
For more inspiration… The tree last year… and one more
Let me show you what I did this year…
I intended to use things I already had but, made the mistake of going to TJ Maxx and the Dollar Tree.
The pink light up hearts and the wooden bead and heart garlands that are on the china cabinet are both from Dollar Tree. I just added those to the string of Christmas lights that stay up all year.
The cute conversation heart garland was another new find from TJ Maxx. Since they only had one, I just cut the hearts off and hung them individually.
Add some floral picks here and there. Mine are pale pink, bright pink and some that are little white glittery snow balls. Just use your favorite colors.
Next, is a topper of some kind…
Here is where I used what was already in my stash. The topper is a ribbon and a pink tulle bow.
The cute pink poodle and sparkly pink flowers have been here before too.
Lastly, just fill in any gaps…
I used pink tulle from my stash and tied it into bows and just filled in here and there until I liked how it looked.
TIP –
I never decorate the back of the tree since it is against the wall.
