Why you say?
The weather was great this week, so I gave up on the makeover and instead cleaned and organized the patio area.
There are new rocking chairs and a new umbrella. More on that later.
You may see Week One, Week Two and Week Three if you are curious.
Okay, let’s get back to the guest room makeover.
Why is it that when a makeover is in one room, the rest of the house always becomes a complete wreck?
All kinds of stuff was delivered this week and pushed into the scrapbookroom / office / craft room.
Should probably open everything to make sure it’s what I ordered.
Dolli wants to know “what is going on here?”
The mattress box came all duct taped, so I did check that to make sure it was okay.
I did fill all the nail holes with spackle this week.
That’s something.
Right?
Here is the one I used
Oh, I did spend a lot of time thinking more about what to do with the closet doors.
Three choices for the closet doors….
- leave painted white – – kind of blah
- wallpaper with a textured wallpaper – – very pretty, but will it hold up
- trim out with some fancy trim and paint white – – no problem with that
- order new doors that I keep thinking about – – high price
Whoops!
I guess that is four choices now.
The rug I chose is on backorder, so I’m trying to choose something else.
I also still need to make the final light fixture decision and get it ordered.
Here are the choices again
Fingers crossed that week five is better than this uneventful week four of this one room Challenge
