Guest room makeover week 6 with the One Room Challenge – The Bed Edition.

The headboard for the bed put a little wrench in the progress this week.

I wanted the new headboard to go in front of the window, but wouldn’t you know the darn thing was too tall.

It is beautiful, but it is just too tall for that spot.

I wore myself out trying to make it work!

I struggled and pushed it all around the room trying out different areas.

None of them were right.

The bed NEEDS to be in front of the window!

The new one looks great in the master bedroom

Problem solved!

I think I like the new one better in the master bedroom than the pink one that was here.

The pink velvet one looks amazing in the guest room

It is shorter, so it works much better and looks fabulous with the new light fixture!

Here it is when I was trying to decide on which rug to use. It also has pink velvet side rails and footboard.

Sweet little Dolli is very interested in the rugs.

I just love this one! Kind of goes with the pattern on the freshly wallpapered closet doors. You can see how to wallpaper closet doors here.

It was kind of a hassle to change the headboards out, but I think it worked out really well.

This was the pink one when it was in the Master Bedroom.

Don’t you think the cream colored one looks better in the master bedroom?

I will have to come back and link the rug. Can’t seem to find it. (update-found it) I got the light blue ivory in the 7×7 size

Also, it looks like the pink velvet diamond tufted bed is no longer available. Linked a pink tufted headboard and will update if I can find the bed.
