Have you ever decorated a May Day Tree?
Is a May Day tree even a thing?
Let’s make it one, okay?
Does anyone make up May Day baskets and put them on a neighbor or friend’s porch, ring the bell and run away? I loved doing that when I was a kid. I didn’t carry on the tradition with my kids. Definitely should have!

You may see how to make the Feminine Footed Tray that is on the table here.
I just chose May Day because I couldn’t figure out what else to would use for a Summer tree.
Would you like to see how easy it is to decorate one?
You may want to see the Valentine’s tree here or the Easter tree here first.
The May Day tree was the easiest yet! I just added in more flowers for a beautiful flower explosion.
The swans, the pink poodle and the sheer pink scarf all made the cut and stayed.
Can you spy the pink poodle?
There she is!
Just add flowers!
All I really did was take off the easter eggs and the easter egg garland and add flowers here and there. Most of them are from Dollar Tree and the rest are from Amazon.
It is getting really full and I plan to just add more and more. Then when Christmas gets here it will be a beautiful backdrop to the Christmas ornaments. I can’t wait to see how it looks!
The twinkle lights on the tree instantly make me feel better. There is even a string of lights across the top of the china cabinet.
I turn all of them on every day I’m home.
I’m starting to plan the Christmas trees for the family room this year.
I’m leaning towards having several small trees instead of one big one.
Mainly because I don’t want to move the dresser that is in the spot where the tree usually goes.
Can you believe that almost everything on the dresser, including the dresser, is from a thrift, vintage, or antique store.
The flowers and the pink candlesticks were the only new purchases.
Makes me want to go thrifting and see what I need. Wink!
Anyone else keeping their Christmas tree up all year?
How have you changed it for the seasons?
