What to do when you don’t want to put your Christmas tree away…
You do something I have wanted to do for years!
Decorate it for Valentine’s Day!
My big plan is to keep the dining room tree up all year and change the decor seasonally.
First up is Valentine’s Day. You can see the 2023 tree here
February is one of my absolute favorite months.
There are pink and girly things everywhere.
And… it’s my birthday month
And… Valentine’s Day

Do you have a Valentine’s Tree?
Let me show you how to decorate a Valentine’s tree with dollar tree items.
I go to lunch and thrifting once or twice a month with a friend and she recently introduced me to the Dollar Tree store. (not a sponsored post just loved my visit)
How did I not know about this gem!?
Everything is only a dollar!
Just know you won’t get out of there without spending at least $20.
Or is that just me? 😊
I went crazy with all of the pink valentine’s goodies.
I grabbed a bunch of flowers, heart shaped floral picks, and pink and white heart shaped doilies that I knew would look good on the tree.
The heart shaped floral picks just needed a little makeover.
So… The miracle of paint and glitter came to the rescue.
I just painted them with some paint I already had and sprinkled glitter on them while still wet.
The soft pink is more my style..
What do you think of the little makeover?
I kept the sheer pink scarf bow that was on the tree from Christmas for the topper.
That sign on the china cabinet is also from the Dollar Tree. I just changed out the jute hanger for a string of pearls. I glued more around all of the edges too. Just a little touch that made it more my style.
The little fluffy swans are from a garland I found at Michael’s after Christmas sale for 75% off.
I just cut them apart and hung them individually.
Their little pink beaks and fluffy bodies are so sweet! Oh! and the gold crown! Adorable!
The flowers filled in some empty areas and look so romantic.
The little pink poodle ornament from the Christmas tree made the cut and stayed.
Just too cute to put away.
The pink hearts with the kissy ribbon and the dangle heart and bells are also from the dollar store.
There are also some branches stuck in here and there that I already had in my faux floral stash.
Then, I kind of scrunched up the pink and white heart shaped doilies and tucked them in here and there.
Perfect!
It makes me smile every time I go in the room.
