I never thought I would ever use wallpaper again!
There was SO much wallpaper in this house when we first moved here!
I’m not sure how long it had been here, but it still looked perfect.
None of it was peeling or loose. NONE of it!
It was installed directly on top of raw drywall.
And let me tell you it was not easy to get off!
I love before and afters so let me show you a few before…
This is right before I started
This is shortly after we moved in and all wallpaper removed
Yikes!!
It looks kind of haunted to me now!
I didn’t notice at the time.
This next one was shortly after we moved in and for some reason the photo is flipped.
That glimpse of the little window to the right was really on the left.
And that is my sweet sweet daughter!
This next one is right before the kitchen remodel…
I had painted the cabinets and all of the wood paneling.
I think I have painted pretty much every surface in this house multiple times.
I guess the pain of removing all of the wallpaper faded.
Because when I saw this wallpaper!!
I knew I needed it and knew exactly where I was going to put it!
It helps that it is “removable” wallpaper.
Again, this is the “right” before the new wallpaper…
Can you tell I painted this little wall pale pink? 😍
It was so nice to have this big counter to roll out and cut the wallpaper!
My helper approves of the progress so far…
It is super easy to work with.
Once the first piece was level, I just had to line up the next piece and cut to size.
The directions tell you to use a squeegee to smooth it.
I didn’t have one so I used a spackle thingie and my hands.
Dolli needed hugs between each piece…
She loves giving high 5’s even if it’s to your face! 😂
I replaced the outlet covers with these.
Here is another “right” before…
And done!!
What do you think?
Are you for or against wallpaper?
Doesn’t this make you want to color the flowers?
This is removable wallpaper and should be super easy to get off when I’m ready for something different.
It reminds me of contact paper. Just not quite as sticky.
Let me know what you think…
Have a lovely day friends!

This turned out so cute with your stools. I totally understand being turned off by wallpaper when you’ve had to remove a ton! We had so much on our walls.

Thank you so much Marie!
