Here we are at week five of the One Room Challenge. Whoops! Where did Week four go? I was busy having spring fever. 🤒 There was progress on the front porch and the back patio though. Many days were spent strolling the garden center aisles. Other days were spent sitting in the swing enjoying the breeze and dreaming of where to plant everything. Daydreaming is a speciality of mine!
A few things were accomplished in the laundry room this week even though I was in major daydreaming and planning mode. Scrubbing, scrubbing, scrubbing and more scrubbing, and then painting. Paint is a miracle worker!
Everything that was stored in the room is now in the garage. There was so much junk that there is no room for the car. I think I do this every time I work on a project. I throw everything in the garage or another room. That forces me to get going so I can get the space back. Whatever works, right?
There is still a lot of work to do, but having the sink area done gives me hope. I see the plan coming together. Those glass tiles were a gift I received a couple years ago at a conference I attended. So thankful to finally use them. They are peel and stick. They are pretty sticky, but I did need some extra glue on some of them. It looks so fresh and clean. It’s all so shiny!
See you next week for the final reveal. There will be before and after photos galore. Fingers crossed it all comes together! I share on Instagram if you want to follow along there too. Be sure to check out the other Guest Designers and the Featured Designers for oodles of inspiration.
