This all started when I didn’t want to put the Christmas tree away.
Years ago I saw someone who kept her tree up and decorated it for all the seasons. I just knew I needed to do that. It just took me forever to actually do it.
I skipped a few holidays, but I did the seasons.
Now that I’m thinking back, what trees were there?
Let’s see.
There was the Christmas tree of course.
Then the Valentine’s Day tree.
Next was the Easter tree.
Then I got kind of stumped because I don’t like the green decor for St. Patrick’s Day or the Red and Blue for Fourth of July. Those colors are just too stark for me. I like those holidays just not on a tree.
So, I came up with a Summer / May Day tree and now a Fall / Halloween tree.
So, a seasonal tree instead of a holiday tree was born.
We are so close to Christmas now and I’m already planning for that decor. I can’t wait!
Hopefully, that will start the first week of November.
But, first let’s decorate a Fall tree.
If you have been following the tree decor, then you know what is coming.
If not, you can get caught up with the Valentine’s, Easter, and Summer / May Day trees and then come back and you will know the routine.
The first step is to always add more flowers.
The dollar store is the best place for inexpensive flowers. They have pretty flowers that are great for tucking in the branches.
I plan to get even more when the Christmas tree decorating gets underway.
Not sure how much I’ve spent on flowers because at a dollar for a bunch it doesn’t seem bad. Some were from Amazon too. I will add it all up and let you know when the Christmas decorating gets underway. It can’t be that much. Can it?
Nothing needed to be removed this time.
Should I leave the pink sheer scarf as the topper for Christmas?
Then, I just tucked some little white pumpkins here and there.
I found some little gray and white gingham pumpkins at at Hobby Lobby.
I tucked those here and there in the branches too. I will link some similar if you like the look.
That wraps up how to decorate a Fall tree!
This can double as a Halloween tree.
Pink can be for Halloween, right?
Super simple and the Christmas tree gets to stay up all year!
Who’s ready for Christmas now?
Let me know if you do a seasonal or holiday tree. I would love to see it!
